Orthodox Jewish

Mental Health Professionals

What is Nachas Ruach?

Nachas Ruach can be translated as "Peace of Mind" - a state of awareness, which comes about through personal growth. As an independent association, Nachas Ruach includes orthodox Jewish mental health professionals, such as counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists, who adhere to Halocho as well as the Code of Ethics of their awarding bodies.

Since its inception in 1990, Nachas Ruach has considerably raised the profile and acceptance of counselling and psychotherapy in the orthodox community. This gives many individuals, couples and families the opportunity to seek resolution and support from professional practitioners who are not only familiar with, but themselves live orthodox life-styles, and who follow Da’as Torah (Rabbinical guidance).
